SBW Partners offers a range of consultation and supervision opportunities to social workers and other professionals who provide psychotherapeutic and/or case management services to older adults and their families.
For LCSWs and Other Psychotherapists
Individual Consultation offers experienced clinicians time and space to reflect upon their work in a difficult situation - at the same time, using case under discussion as an opportunity to strengthen assessment and interventive abilities throughout their practice.
Individual Supervision offers clinicians the opportunity to adapt knowledge and skills they have gained in work with younger clients to practice in the field of aging through discussion of similarities and differences - and supervisory suggestions tailored to their particular needs.
For LMSWs
LCSW Individual and Group Supervision offer new practitioners - and experienced practitioners who wish to attain the LCSW - an opportunity for professional growth and development while earning supervisory hours toward the LCSW credential.
Individual Supervision concentrates exclusively on the learning needs and wishes of the social worker. Group Supervision offers a chance to share one's concerns and receive input and support from peers as well as the leader. Whichever you choose, you are on your way to enhanced clinical practice.
